There will be many opportunities to get involved with Solar Northeast as it guides policymakers, educates the public, holds events, conducts advocacy and public relations campaigns, solicits endorsements and ensures that appropriate projects are identified.

$500 million invested in solar energy & energy efficiency will prevent 717,250,337 pounds of carbon dioxide pollution, 1,977,885 pounds of sulfur dioxide pollution, and 662,143 pounds of nitrogen oxide pollution. Reductions in these emissions improve public health, protect the environment, and mitigate global climate change. In addition, approximately 2,400 year-long jobs will be created by the investment of which an estimated 30% will most likely be local.
